This was good and I look forward to using this recipe again. Just a note if making for only a few servings, when soaking the bread the egg mixture will be absorbed quickly- don’t wait too long to flip the bread. Thank you!

Hi Jen, if you enjoy fresh nutmeg that would be a welcome addition!

How rude. I think you “accidentally” posted an inside thought. #kindnessisthesolution #keepinsidethoughtsin

Add cinnamon and vanilla to the egg mixture. Soak for at least 20 minutes. Cut slices into quarters. Use extra egg to make it very eggs. Use hot skillet with coconut oil. Brown quickly on both sides. Serve with slic e d fruit or with thin sliced tomato and cucumber.. sometimes I grate ceddar cheese over the bread just long enough to melt

I’m a long time follower (love your recipes!) but I’ve never left a review before. I just had to thank you for helping me like French toast! That eggy flavor has always been so off-putting to me. I can’t believe it’s completely gone using only the yolks! I’m gobsmacked!! Thanks for sharing! :)

Obesity comes often from highly processed foods, which this recipe avoids. This recipe is a gift, embracing whole food cooking in the home which is part of the solution to living and loving. Denying, like gratitude, is a choice.

Very cool…thanks! Your dad sounds awesome. But did you really mean “onion juice” or “orange juice”?
