Hi, I first found you online many years ago. It was hard for me to believe that vegetarian cooking could taste so good. As a dog lover myself, i thought it was so sweet that your pup was the headliner and let’s face it - the star of the show. I am so sorry that she has passed. I have told so many friends about your recipes and even gifted your cook book to many- my own is dog eared and a little worn but I still love cooking up all your delightful recipes. Thank you for sharing your talents and of course Cookie with all of us

I’ve enjoyed every recipe of yours, except I messed up when making the Carrot Cake Breakfast Cookies. I didnt have oat flour so I used combo of coconut flour and almond flour…crumbles. Could this substitute have worked?
Oh, how sad I am that you lost Cookie. My dog Chip passed away from Lymphoma about the same time. He was only 7 years old.
On a happy note, I recently purchased your cookbook and plan to try all your recipes.

I have used your recipes over the years and recently have not been much of a cook. I went to Friendsgiving last week where my friend reminded me of your blog and my heart sank when I saw Cookie had passed. I cried on my way to work reading this article but also had a sinking feeling I would be writing my own remembrance article soon. I lost my best friend, Ziggy, of the last 14 year yesterday just 5 days after being reconnected with your site. Your story of Cookie has helped me process what has been the most painful 72 hours of my life until now. I hope you have a found peace and please know that Cookie’s story is still inspiring us.

Our dogs give us a bond like no other, really. What a beautiful tribute to Cookie, I always enjoyed seeing his cute pictures.
I lost my beloved beagle mix, Stuar,t almost a year ago and I still miss him like crazy. He, too, was with me through marriage and motherhood, he was my shadow for 11 years. I am so sorry for your loss and I feel your grief!

I just happened to fall onto your site and then saw this post abiut your sweet cookie. I’m crying as reading this. We put our dog down last summer in 2023 and I know how hard that is—gods blessings to you and I’m so sorry for your loss. And btw— your cookie is adorable! god bless yo
